Lenovo declared an interim distribution of 6.6 HK cents per unit. REUTERSChinese PC maker Lenovo's (0992) net profit jumped 44 percent to US$523 million (HK$4.07 billion) for the half year ended September as it cashed in on demand tailwinds. The company declared an interim distribution of 6.6 HK cents per unit, up 4.8 percent compared to the same period last year. Operating profit rose by 28 percent to US$1 billion. Lenovo's PC and Smart Device business and Data Center Group (DCG) grew their revenues by 8.8 percent and 15.0 percent, respectively.
