MANILA, Philippines - Vice President Leni Robredo was not at the “counter-SONA” organized by opposition lawmakers, including her partymates in the Liberal Party, at the University of the Philippines yesterday. The counter-SONA was aimed to give various sectors’ versions of the State of theNation Address. “We arrived here Saturday until today (Sunday) to look for inspiring stories of our OFWs,” she told broadcaster Ely Saludar. Robredo co-anchors the program BISErbisyong Leni over dzXL with Saludar every Sunday. Duterte accused Robredo of joining protest actions calling for his ouster, which the Vice President has repeatedly denied.
