Leiking not concerned about new coalition govt rumours

KOTA KINABALU: Parti Warisan Sabah deputy president Datuk Darell Leiking (pic) is more concerned about Malaysia's economy than in the unconfirmed talks of a new coalition government allegedly between Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, Umno and PAS. He said Warisan has nine strong MPs and their focus was to fight for the rights yet to be fulfilled under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63). Leiking said discussions still needed to be held with all the various industries including the tourism, manufacturing, service and other business players to get feedback on this. “Our economy must be kept alive and when we talk about shared prosperity, we must not forget shared responsibility among all Malaysians (during any crisis), ” Leiking said. He also urged businesses to keep their operations strong and not opt for layoffs during this difficult time.
