Emergency crews descended on Hastings High School in Burbage at around 3.15pm following reports a 16-year-old had been injured. Leicestershire Police said on arrival at St Catherine's Close officers found a victim had sustained a single stab wound allegedly inflicted by another boy known to him. In a statement, the police confirmed: "Upon arrival at the scene, it was alleged the victim had sustained a single stab wound, inflicted by another boy known to him. A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said two paramedics, both in cars, one crewed ambulance and one doctor to the scene.
