Arthur Mola/Invision/APLegendary Television has confirmed that Denis Villeneuve, director of Arrival and Blade Runner 2049, will executive produce a newly greenlit TV series, Dune: The Sisterhood. Dune: The Sisterhood takes place in Frank Herbert's "Dune" novel series, following the Bene Gesserit. The Dune film itself began filming in March, its illustrious cast including Timothee Chalamet as the lead character (Paul Atreides). The TV and film Dune adaptations are only the start of Legendary's media ambitions for the Dune universe, which also includes digital content packages, video games, and comic book series. The third scripted series order for the service, Dune: The Sisterhood joins Paul Feig's Anna Kendrick-starring Love Live and Tokyo Vice, starring Ansel Egort.
