Voting time should be extended and the number of polling sites should be increased to help reduce the risk of the coronavirus from spreading during the September Legco elections, a microbiologist says. Dr Ho Pak-Leung, who heads the University of Hong Kong's Centre for Infection, said there is enough time before the elections, and that the government still has many options. Due to the resurgence of the virus in city, there have been suggestions to prepare for postponing the vote scheduled for September 6.
