The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued notice to the Maharashtra government over a petition seeking ban on possession of beef brought into Maharashtra from other states. Unitech directed to pay Rs.15 crore to purchasersThe Supreme Court on Wednesday asked real estate developer Unitech Ltd to refund Rs.15 crore to a group of buyers who bought apartments in its Noida and Gurgaon projects that have been delayed. The company and buyers have agreed that Rs.15 crore is roughly the principal amount the buyers had paid. The court allowed other cases pending before various high courts to approach the Supreme Court. The case before the Delhi high court has already been transferred to the apex court.
