Legal cannabis grow-op ransacked by gun-wielding thieves, Durham police say
Durham Region police are searching for five men after workers at a legal grow-op were robbed at gunpoint Thursday morning. At 6 a.m. Thursday, one day after legalization, five men with guns stormed a legal outdoor grow-op close to the intersection of Concession Rd. Police say thieves made off with “several garbage bags” full of dried cannabis. They made a getaway in one worker’s personal vehicle.
