In a written statement, coordinator Abdur Rashid of the Baam Ganatantrik Jote said: "We are not contesting the upcoming upazila election because the wounds of the unfair election earlier have not healed yet. The upazila elections were the same as the general election of December 30. We will continue our protest till we get a complete reform of the election system in the country," he added.
