Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has been told Patrick Bamford is not the striker to lead his side to promotion. Bamford is Leeds’ top scorer this season with 12 goals in the Championship. The former Chelsea academy graduate has started 28 of the 30 league games so far this term. Leeds currently sit second in the Championship table, one point behind leaders West Brom and three ahead of third-placed Fulham. But Bielsa’s side have only won one of their five league games in 2020, with their latest disappointment coming in Saturday’s 1-0 loss at home to Wigan.
