Johnson told BBC Radio Bristol that negotiations over his new deal took "about seven minutes", adding that "our strength is in our stability". "It was very, very simple for me right from the start because I've been quite vocal about wanting to stay," he said. "I've made no secret of my ambitions - both personal and professional - but that ideally will be with Bristol City.
