Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama has defended Chief Justice David Maraga over his public appearances in various functions across the country. Nyagarama said the CJ has the right to attend any function that is held anywhere since he is never restrained. “We want to strongly differ with those people who are saying that the CJ should not mingle with other people. Maraga spoke during a funeral at Ogango in West Mugirango constituency in Nyamira County where he was joined with several other leaders including the Senator Okongo Omogeni. Omogeni issued a stern warning over those few leaders who are pointing fingers at the office of the CJ that their days are numbered.
