I worked with him for a decade, from the time he directed Arhatha till Aayiram Meni. Long before I began dreaming about a career in cinema, I had watched his films in theatres, growing up in Palakkad. I still remember films such as Itha Ivide Vare, Avalude Ravukal, Angadi and Aavanazhi. It was from him that I learnt how to complete a film quickly so that the producer could save money. Besides Devasuram, my favourites include Kanamarayathu, Itha Ivide Vare and Aalkoottathil Thaniye.
