Have you ever shattered your iPhone screen and had it fixed by a third-party company instead of Apple? In the past, Apple would have voided the warranty for having your iPhone screen fixed by a third-party company right away. However, AppleInsider pointed out that even the slightest damage caused by the third-party screen repair company -- including the housing -- would void the Apple warranty. It’s worth mentioning that the iPhone screen is the most likely component to break if the device hits the ground. Customers that want to replace the third-party screen with a genuine Apple screen would have to pay the out-of-warranty price.
