ESPN has entered a new multi-year agreement with Riot Games to broadcast the North American League of Legends Championship Series on ESPN+. ESPN has signed a non-exclusive deal with Riot Games to broadcast the NA LCS from summerIn 2016, Riot signed a long term deal with BAMTech for League of Legends worth upwards of $300 million through 2023. Last year, Disney acquired majority control of BAMTech, which has now decided to move League of Legends to the ESPN+ platform alongside other sports, rather than creating a unique one for LoL. The new deal is another multi-year deal, worth an undisclosed amount of money. The summer split for the NA LCS kicks off on June 16, culminating in the finals from September 8-9.
