Maple Leafs No. 1 goalie Frederik Andersen left Monday’s game against Florida with an upper-body injury and was ruled out for the night, the team announced. The goalie took the brunt of a first-period collision with Florida forward Frank Vatrano. The two came together on a hard rush to the net, with Vatrano taking Andersen’s legs out from under him. Replays showed Andersen and Leafs defenceman Jake Muzzin making contact also on the collision.
