Kyle Dubas’s newest task — restocking his roster for the 2021-22 season — became slightly more complicated with a report that rugged defenceman Zach Bogosian will not be re-signing with the Maple Leafs. The Star’s Kevin McGran tweeted that news, along with a note that forward Nick Foligno remains in conversation with the Leafs. With Bogosian apparently deciding to sign with a U.S.-based team, the Leafs are down to six defenceman signed for next season. If Dubas sticks with his blueprint of skilled, offensive players, 30-goal forward Kyle Palmieri could fit the bill.
