Not Presidents’ Trophy good (goalie depth will be their undoing) but darned good. Would you be impressed if they won the Presidents’ Trophy? Historically the winner of the Presidents’ Trophy is not that good a yardstick for the Stanley Cup. Just see how many Presidents’ Trophy winners have won the Cup in the last 20 years. However, I’d rather have the focus on the playoffs and the Presidents’ Trophy brings a whole lot of pressure.
