MONTREAL—Josh Leivo has shown his commitment to the Maple Leafs, accepting his role as a frequent healthy scratch who keeps a positive attitude while continuing to work hard. “It feels great,” Leivo said. “We’ve got a great team. I have to stay patient, stay positive in the room, helping guys. Leivo, a third-round pick in the 2011 draft, has been on the Leafs’ roster full time since last season and seems happy to be a Leaf and all that goes with it.
