Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Eritrean President Isaias Afeworki were among the dignitaries, as were the deputy administrator of Tigray, Debretsion Gebremichael, and the Administrator of Amhara region, Gedu Endargachew. This opening of the Oumhajir-Humera border is the continuation of normalizing of Ethio-Eritrea relations, ENA reported.
