CLEVELAND, Ohio — LeBron’s team, the Los Angeles Lakers, did not make the playoffs this season but according to Forbes Magazine James did become a billionaire. James is the first still active basketball player to become a billionaire, although Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant both reached that level after their playing days were over.
