The opposition Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) has been leading nation-wide demonstrations, calling for the removal of the IEBC commissioners. On Sunday, lawyer Steve Mogaka argued that a judicial process would ensue in case the commissioners are forcefully ejected out of office. "The courts will surely reverse their ouster and grant an injunction against the removal or replacement of the commission. "As we burn out in the street demos against the IEBC, I am constrained to think loudly. It argues that the commission as currently constituted, cannot be trusted to conduct free and fair elections.
