KUALA LUMPUR: Sungai Besar Umno chief Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos, who disappeared from the Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital on Friday, has been requested to contact his lawyer or turn himself in at the Ampang Jaya district police headquarters to complete the bail process. His lawyer Datuk Mohd Imran Tamrin said he is confident that the police would provide full cooperation and assistance without the need to arrest him. Imran said he believed that Jamal’s disappearance was attributed to a miscommunication between him and the lawyer. On Friday, Jamal was found missing from the hospital, where he was warded for a back problem. Jamal had been arrested and then placed under remand recently for allegedly displaying a firearm and the pictures had gone viral on social media websites.
