A Chattogram court has issued a summons for the plaintiff to attend a hearing on the admissibility of the chargesheet in the murder case of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif. “The plaintiff in this case, the father of the slain lawyer Alif, could not appear in court due to illness from old age. The murder took place during a violent episode on Nov 26, 2024, in the aftermath of a court hearing that denied bail to Chinmoy.
