Lawmakers call for security of worship places of minorities


Interior ministry unaware of whereabouts of first national flagLawmakers on Monday demanded security for worship places of minorities in wake of the Quetta church attack which took place on Sunday. The NA session began on Monday with a minute of silence observed for the victims of Sunday’s church attack in Quetta. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal’s (JUI-F) minority member Asiya Nasir observed that the rise in attacks on worship places of minorities was worrying. She demanded the government to provide adequate security to churches across the country. It further informed that Interpol has also been contacted for arrests of 14 Iranian alleged human traffickers involved in the trade.
