During her employment Deng resigned twice, both times when her boss wanted to discuss her performance. As it did not, the ERA ordered the HFL to pay Deng $5115 for wages and $4000 for humiliation. But considering Deng's breaches to her employment, the ERA decided to reduce the amounts awarded by 80 per cent.
