Our BureauStuart LawCalcutta: West Indies coach Stuart Law urged his players to be smarter in approach in the ICC World Cup Qualifier, which will decide the two sides that will complete the 10-team line-up for World Cup 2019 to be played in England and Wales from 30 May to 14 July. "The strength of a lot of Associate teams is based around spin and the quicks they have seem to be pretty reasonable as well. "Our bowlers have been consistently taking wickets upfront and we have a good mix of off-spin, left-arm spin and leg-spin. As the event progresses, the wickets will spin more and we have quality spinners as well," Law was quoted as saying in an ICC release. In Thursday's practice match against UAE, left-arm orthodox Nikita Miller took five for 20 as West Indies successfully defended their paltry total of 115.
