A delegation of the association left for Bengaluru in the afternoon to place their demands before the Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court. The association, which convened a meeting in Hassan earlier today, decided to boycott proceedings in his court hall till the demand was met. Shashikala had remanded Police Inspector Marappa to judicial custody on Tuesday. The association also demanded strict action against police officials who refused to follow the court’s order remanding the police officer to judicial custody on Tuesday. The court had remanded him to judicial custody for a day after hearing six cases.
