Potter, who played cheerleader Becky Jackson and sidekick to one Sue Sylvester on Fox’s dearly departed musical comedy, accepted a promise ring on Sunday from her longtime childhood friend, Timothy Spear, People reports. It’s probably fortuitous that “ Glee ” star Lauren Potter became engaged after the series was canceled, because you know the New Directions would ruin the wedding with a Kidz Bop rendition of “One Dance” or something equally heinous. “When Lauren ended a relationship, Timothy immediately asked her out and they have been together since.”Congratulations to the happy couple! Potter, who has gone on to appear in “Veep” and become an advocate for disability awareness, got back in touch with Spear in recent years and the two began a relationship. “We’ve kept in touch over the years, but it wasn’t until the kids were reunited while they were both living in Laguna Beach,” Sinkhorn added.
