Ready Eddie joined Knight's stable last year from Mark Oulaghan after he suffered a tendon injury, ironically at Te Rapa, two years ago. It was a good run by the debutant who should redeem himself at short notice. In pursuit was Domination and Troy Harris, a horse Kuru won on at his previous start and who the talented hoop rides in work.
