THE 30th instalment of the International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (Itex) from May 2 to 4 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is the ideal launch pad for forward thinking ideas and individuals. “All relevant stakeholders need to do their utmost to promote innovative thinking among the younger generation as well as reward it,” Ong said. Itex 2019 will run concurrently with the third edition of the World Young Inventors Exhibition, which encourages young minds to explore their creative and critical thinking skills through innovative inventions via the Asian Young Inventors Exhibition and the Malaysian Young Inventors Exhibition. There will be more than 400 inventions by young local and international inventors. Other highlights include Tech Talk, Pitch4Fund, Venture Capital to Entrepreneur Talk, Inventing workshop for primary school pupils, World Scratch Day Intel Aspire Minds Challenge, Arts & Creativity Exhibition and Malam Budaya Cipta.
