France have taken top spot in the latest edition of FIFA’s men’s soccer world rankings following the March international break. It is the first time since September 2018 that France have been ranked No 1 by the world governing body. The USMNT has dropped one place to 16th, swapping positions with its World Cup co-host Mexico, following a 5-2 loss against Belgium and a 2-0 defeat to Portugal.
