It took firefighters about two hours to extinguish a "well-involved" fire in the roof of Matakana's Sawmill Brewery (file photo). Fire investigators are set to determine the cause of a "well-involved" late-night fire at a brewery north of Auckland. Multiple fire crews were called to Matakana's Sawmill Brewery just before 11pm on Monday. The Sawmill Brewery was bought by Mike Sutherland and Kirsty McKay in 2008. The business is environmentally friendly, with a zero waste goal and runs on solar energy.
