(Marvin Joseph/The Washington Post)A court ruling has made it easier for some of the last remaining Chinese residents in D.C.’s Chinatown neighborhood to stay in their apartments — for now. The D.C. Court of Appeals upheld a ruling last week in favor of the tenants of the Museum Square apartment building, where about half of Chinatown’s Chinese residents live. [Chinatown apartment tenants: ‘We’re not going.’]The court sided with the tenants, Bush Companies appealed, and now the appeals court once again has ruled in favor of residents. Caroline Hennessy, a community organizer at Housing Counseling Services who has been working with Museum Square tenants, said the court’s ruling is a boon for tenants.
