Last night a gunman located on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort opened fire on a music festival at Las Vegas Village across the street, killing 59 and injuring over 500 others. The Route 91 Harvest Festival debuted in 2014 as part of Las Vegas’ push to have more live music options. The festival – which drew over 25,000 people per day last year – was the first festival in Las Vegas exclusively dedicated to country music.
