Andy Farrell is set to ring the changes for Saturday’s visit of the USA Eagles to the Aviva Stadium, but the Ireland head coach has injury concerns over Jordan Larmour and Chris Farrell. Larmour and Farrell were forced off during last Saturday’s thrilling 39-31 win over Japan, with both now in a race to make it back in time. Larmour suffered a groin injury and limped off after half an hour, while Farrell was replaced early in the second-half having shipped a heavy head knock, with the Munster centre failing his subsequent Head Injury Assessment (HIA). The Munster duo will hope to start against the Eagles, with Farrell explaining after the Japan win that he held Casey back because the back-line had already been decimated after Ireland lost Larmour and Farrell. With another 11 uncapped players in the squad, Farrell must weigh up how many new caps to hand out against a USA side, who were beaten by England at Twickenham yesterday.
