PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Laos prime minister Dr Thongloun Sisoulith will be exploring ways to further strengthen ties between the two countries. Thongloun, who arrived on Tuesday morning for a two-day visit, went straight to Putrajaya where he was given an official welcome at Dataran Perdana. After the national anthem of both nations were played, Thongloun inspected a guard of honour by the First Malay Royal Regiment. He was later introduced to Cabinet ministers and the diplomatic corps. His itinerary includes an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and attending the Malaysia-Laos Business Forum.
