NewsAt least 52 Lanka Sathosa outlets were declared opened yesterday island-wide with the aim of providing high quality food at concessionary rates to the consumers. Marking the significant event, President Maithripala Sirisena opened the Lanka Sathosa outlet at Kohuwala yesterday. Accordingly, at present there are 380 Lanka Sathosa outlets across the country and the Government is expected to increase the number of Sathosa outlets to 500 by end of this year.
