Rent Drops in 6 EstatesA report by real estate company HassConsult revealed six estates where rent prices dropped during the second quarter of this year. The report explained that the move to drop rent prices was occasioned by the harsh economic times that have seen many Kenyans struggle to make ends meet. Meanwhile, within the 14 Nairobi satellite towns, only Kitengela tenants benefited from a rent drop. HassConsult explained that the satellite towns registered a unique trend contrary to what was witnessed in the Nairobi suburbs owing to the migration of Kenyans to the satellite towns.
