A man who allegedly landed on his mother's tenant with kicks and blows after he allegedly failed to pay rent has been charged with assault. Paul Macharia was presented before Kibera Chief Magistrate Ann Mwangi where he denied the charges. The court heard that the accused person committed the offence on November 23 in Keroka village in Kangemi within Nairobi County. The chief magistrate released him on Sh20,000 cash bail with the surety of the same amount. She also directed that the accused person be supplied with all the witness statements and documentary evidence.
