Land-use rights, bomb shelters boosted in Sa KaeoThe Burapha Task Force has set up a new operations base in Ban Nong Chan, Sa Kaeo, named ‘Nanthawong Base’ in honour of Private Thanapat Nanthawong, of the 3rd Infantry Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, Royal Guard, who was killed in action during the Battle of Nong Chan on Dec 28, 2025. 1st Army AreaThe Burapha Task Force is working to survey and verify land-use rights for villagers in Ban Nong Chan, Sa Kaeo, following recent Thai-Cambodian border clashes. The task force, under the 1st Army Area, is also accelerating work on civilian bomb shelters along the Sa Kaeo border. Authorities have now completed the land survey and coordinate mapping, and are now verifying land-use rights, confirming boundaries, before issuing legal land documents to residents. The operation is focused on two main areas, Sector 1 and Sector 2, near Ban Dan in Kap Choeng district.
