The victim, 54, came into acquaintance with the suspect over the purchase of another land sometime last year. The suspect had also produced a grant for the land in his bid trying to entice the victim into purchasing the land. “Since his previous transaction with the suspect went smoothly, and considering the commercial potential of the land, the victim accepted the offer. “As the months went by, the victim felt he was cheated over the land purchase as the suspect had failed to handover the grant for the land.
