"We don't want them here," Trump said of "Islamic terrorists" after signing an executive order. It bars entry into the US for 90 days for citizens from seven countries - Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen. A senior US administration official said even green card holders, who are allowed to live and work in the US, from the seven countries would have to be cleared on a case-by-case basis. The executive order created a legal limbo for individuals on the way to the US and panic for families who were awaiting their arrival. Of the seven countries targeted, Iran sends the most visitors to the US each year -around 35,000 in 2015.
