Lampang still blanketed by smogHeavy smog slows traffic in Lampang on Monday morning. PM2.5 levels have now been in the red zone for nine days in Muang and Mae Moh districts. The haze blanketed Lampang town and surrounding areas, the poor visibility making the morning commute doubly unpleasant for drivers. In Mae Moh district, weather stations of the Pollution Control Department reported PM2.5 levels were measured at an unhealthy 98 at tambon Ban Dong and 97 at tambon Mae Moh. The heavy smog is said to be caused by bush fires reported in many areas of the province.
