Our Special CorrespondentFast trackCalcutta: Lamborghini sold 28 vehicles in India in 2017, garnering a 40 per cent market share in the super sports car segment. The company recently launched the SUV Urus in India. Sharad Agarwal, the head of Lamborghini India, who was in the city to showcase the Urus, said the new SUV will help the company triple its volumes in India by 2019. Priced at Rs 3 crore, the Urus is the most affordable Lamborghini. Lamborghini will also be ramping up its production facility at Sant'Agata, Italy, in 2018, doubling the factory size to 1,60,000 square metres from 80,000 square metres.
