Louisville-Kentucky doesn’t get the rivalry-week love that Ohio State-Michigan or Alabama-Auburn get, but there’s plenty of animus involved in the battle for the Governor’s Cup. That hate was on full display early in Saturday’s game, when Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson was involved in a scrap that lasted a couple of minutes. Kentucky cornerback Lonnie Johnson and Louisville running back Malik Williams also were flagged. No one was ejected, though the four players will be if they pick up another bad-conduct penalty.
