It was the second day of a back-to-back for the Lakers, so even though Kyle Kuzma was returning to the city where he spent the last four years of his life, he didn’t want to overload himself. When point guard Lonzo Ball has said he never even remembered Kuzma in games when UCLA played Utah last year, it’s only partially in jest. But not until the NBA draft combine did many teams really start to notice him. Having played three games in four nights, and two on consecutive nights, the Lakers will get Sunday off before returning to work. … Kuzma isn’t the only Lakers player who went to Utah.
