The Lakefield Battaglia Homes Chiefs defeated the North Kawartha Knights 4-2 in PJHL action Tuesday night at the Lakefield-Smith Community Centre. Jacob McPhee led Lakefield with a goal and assist while Jon Croxson and Clayton Shaughnessy also scored. Andrew Welch stopped 39 shots for the win. Kieran Flynn had a goal and assist and Karsten Leonard also scored for North Kawartha. The Chiefs host the Port Perry Mojacks at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
