MANILA, Philippines — Filipino fighter Danny Kingad has been added in this month’s ONE Championship inaugural event in Surabaya, Indonesia, the promotion announced today. Touting a 5-0 pro card, Kingad will test his striking savvy against his foe’s two-faced arsenal of grappling and also striking. Kingad has won three straight fights in ONE. The lone Filipino in the card is a former 2015 Regional Wushu Champion whose last prey was Muhammad Aiman. The Philippines will have a chance to return to the winning column behind Kingad after Jimmy Yabo’s failed bid to win in the Myanmar leg just last month.
