The Lagos State Government on Thursday told an Igbosere High Court that it wants to add Femi Falana SAN as one of the witnesses to testify in the trial of alleged kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans. This was revealed through an application filed by Lagos State Prosecutor, Y.G Oshoala. Oshoala told the Court, that an issue came up during trial within trial which required that “we call an additional witness”. But the counsel to Evans, Mr R. B. Ekeh, said that he has not responded to the application, adding that other defendants’ counsel said that they were not served with the application. He was also arraigned before Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of Ikeja High Court, Lagos, on different charges.
